During the Conventual Mass on Saturday, August 8th, the Feast of St. Dominic, Br. David, Br. Pascal, and Br. Sebastian were ritually “installed” as lectors. Br. Nivard, who is a junior brother visiting from the Abbey of Zirc in Hungary, was installed as lector and acolyte. These are the first steps toward eventual ordination to the priesthood, and encourage candidates to deepen their spiritual lives and readiness for service. Please pray for them and all our monks, especially those in formation.
